These adorable 'Bakerella' pumpkin bites are a fun treat that is sure to impress. In North America, jack-o-lanterns are often associated with the fall season, as that's when they grow and are ready to be eaten. Pumpkins are also known as a symbolic icon during the holiday known as Halloween, which is celebrated across the continent.
This recipe is a creative take on the traditional pumpkin pie recipe. The pie itself is made to look like a pumpkin, which makes it that much more appetizing. The materials required to make these includes some ready-to roll pie crust, a pumpkin shaped cookie cutter, and some canned pumpkin, or fresh, and a mini cupcake baking tray. To create the pumpkin shape, simply roll out some pie dough and then use a cookie cutter. Lastly, fill the cupcake tray with pie dough, and then fill them up with the pumpkin filling.
