The Celsius Kettle by Craig Thurston is a modern water pot that's equipped with lighting technology that indicates to users when the water is ready.
It's an intuitive design that aims to increase the efficiency of boiling water. The kettle is built with a blue and red light that act as a temperature indicator. Gone with the days with kettles that would sound a high pitch screech that's worse than any alarm clock.
“The design utilizes an induction heating system, which is built into the lower section of the kettle with power being supplied from the base," said Thurston.
The color-changing indicators show users the stages of the heating process. There is also a warming function that enables people to keep the water warm while they get ready with other tasks.
