CCTV Headquarters by OMA is Constructed With a Massive Hollow Space

The CCTV Headquarters by OMA is finally complete and Beijing will be unveiling its latest tower to the television broadcasters.
The CCTV headquarters is not the average building; it has angular designs with a massive hole in the building’s core. This is OMA’s first project in China and it’s been crafted with ultimate designs. The space in this structure totals 473,000 square meters and includes a 75 foot perpendicular structure that’s an extension of the building. The tower houses studios, offices, production facilities and broadcasting rooms.
The geometric design has a symmetrical facade; the bottomless floors at the peak of the building is supported by the two standing structures and sturdy base. For people unafraid of heights, the CCTV Headquarters by OMA features a circular see-through glass partition that people can stand on to check out the landscape below.
