Throwing, a favorite past-time for many people, isn’t just for balls anymore; we’ve seen the concept of throwing used in other areas as well.

In the world of virtual throwing, we have featured the Belkin iPod Recording Studio which allows one to ‘throw down’ demos to an iPod, LED throwies used for high-tech graphics and fusion controllers that enable one to throw various items in games. 

As far as literally throwing technology is concerned, we’ve seen cameras that take pictures when thrown, and hidden cameras in throw pillows.

Throwing has been used in areas of art (throwing furniture), publicity stunts (throwing money out of planes), and safety (anti-crime balls.)

There have also been throwing innovations when it comes to things like Lego and wheel-chair flame throwers.  And, not to be forgotten, snowball throwers that will have you nailing your ‘enemies’ almost as good as Elf…
