The Zero DS 2024 is an electric dual-sport motorcycle that combines the versatility of an off-road bike with the efficiency and convenience of an urban commuter. This all-new Zero DS features a sleek and muscular design, inspired by the flagship DSR/X model, with a new bodywork and plastics that give it a more aggressive look. The Zero DS also has a comfortable seat, a digital dash, and a range of accessories to customize your ride.
The Zero DS is powered by a Z-Force 7.2 battery pack, which delivers a maximum range of 144 miles in the city and 98 miles at a higher pace. The battery can be recharged in 9.2 hours with a standard socket, or in 4 hours with a level two charger. The battery also supports a long term storage mode, which optimizes the state of charge and improves the battery health. The Zero DS has a 51kW motor, which produces 97 pound-feet of torque and a top speed of 104mph. The motor is connected to the rear wheel by a carbon fiber belt, which eliminates the need for chain maintenance. The Zero DS also has two performance modes, Eco and Sport, which can be selected by a button or customized via the Zero Motorcycles app. The Zero DS has a starting price of $10,995 USD and is available in black or orange colors. The Zero DS is expected to hit the dealerships in early 2024.
