Amsterdam-based imprint YUME YUME is best recognized for its Japanese-inspired footwear and now it breaches its way into the realm of fashion. To launch the looks, the imprint unveiled an entire ready-to-wear collection that is designed for the Fall/Winter 2023 season.
The co-founder of the brand Eva Korsten drew inspiration from her own grandmother, referencing her own personal style themes for inspiration. Overall, it is a celebration of the fashionable female influences in her life. The capsule is dubbed 'The Birth of the Vore' and the apparel is uniquely a translation of the footwear influence in the form of apparel, which is refenced in the idea of the 'core.' Some of the apparel borrow materials from the footwear and some merge together.
