Converse and streetwear imprint CLOT have teamed with the Andy Warhol Foundation to create the 'Year of the Monkey' lineup. This China-exclusive range features the eccentric work of the famed and deceased artist.
The Year of the Monkey pack features Warhol's iconic banana logo branded across accessories, apparel and footwear. For the footwear portion of the collection, Converse donated its Chuck Taylor All Star Hi and Ox silhouettes which have been rendered with playful pop-art motif across their canvas uppers. When it comes to apparel, this collection offers monochromatic bucket hats and a selection of tees, all of which feature the same all-over banana pattern.
By naming this collection Year of the Monkey and making it exclusive to China, this vibrant lineup also honors the upcoming Chinese New Year.
