Juxtaposing 80s-Inspired Apparel

The Winonah FW18 Collection Delivers Modern Power Dressing

The Netherlands-based fashion designer Winonah de Jong introduces a merge of 80s-inspired power dressing with modern vibes for this fall season. To represent the 80s decade, there are unique bold silhouettes, such as pieces that have strong shoulders and large ruffle materials. Additionally, there are also fabric materials used such as velvet, two-toned sequins, and duchesse. The contemporary details were exuded through pieces such as the knit sweatshirt dress with a metallic finishing.

A standout piece from the new Winonah FW18 collection are the Space Age dress with large ruffled shoulders and a black, gold, and burgundy colorway in jacquard. Some other notable items are the black jumpsuit with a bustier and decorative shoulder details, as well as the tuxedo dresses.
