An exciting development for an industry playing with virtual realities for some time now, Windows Holographic works in tandem with the HoloLens headset, that may look like any other VR accessory. Windows Holographic and the HoloLens was created in collaboration with NASA. What makes the program and the headset stand out in particular is the fact that it is a self-contained computer. The Verge happily notes that "there are no wires and no need for a connection to a PC or a phone."
