Wilson Sports Goods Co. Launches the Wilson Airless Gen1™

Wilson Sporting Goods Co. unveils the Wilson Airless Gen1™, a groundbreaking 3D-printed basketball that eliminates the need for inflation. Following the Airless Prototype, which was unveiled in 2023, the limited-edition Gen1 debuts on Feb. 16, boasting enhanced performance and manufacturing efficiency. Retaining regulation size, weight, and bounce, the Gen1 features an upgraded lattice design for consistent play and integrated holes for accelerated production.

Each ball includes a built-in label and comes in jet-black, brown, or natural white variants. Developed in collaboration with partners like General Lattice, DyeMansion, EOS, and SNL Creative, this innovation caters to basketball enthusiasts and heralds a new era of technology-infused sporting goods.

The new Wilson basketballs will debut on February 16 for $2,500.
