Rotating Water Wheel Hotels

This Hotel Spins Like a Ferris Wheel With Glass-Walled Sleeping Pods

An incredible slow-spinning water wheel hotel has been imagined for Paris, France by the architect firm SCAU. The London Eye-inspired structure would have multiple pods, each one like that of a Ferris wheel, each cushioned and soundproofed for a soft and cozy sleep while looking out at the city of lights.

While the circular section of the cylindrical pods would have a cushioned surface, the two flat ends would be windows onto the city. The water wheel hotel would be located on the banks of the Seine, taking 30 minutes to complete each rotation.

As the hotel would be classified a temporary structure, it would need to be moved every six months to a different location according to law. However, this is plausible as the building would be portable -- taking just four days to build or take down the hotel.
