Advanced Water Disinfection Platforms

Kemin Debuts EDIE™ Generation 2 Application System

Kemin Industries has unveiled the EDIE™ Generation 2 Application System — an advanced water disinfection platform that has been specifically designed for livestock and poultry operations.

The EDIE™ Generation 2 Application System integrates automated control, real-time performance tracking, and flexible connectivity into a single waterline management tool. The second-generation advanced water disinfection platform continuously monitors chlorine dioxide levels while offering optional sensors for pH and oxidation-reduction potential. These capabilities give farm operators live data on water quality without constant hands-on testing. The unit also automates recordkeeping by logging equipment function, water volume, and dosing history, and it connects to a mobile application that sends remote alerts and allows off-site oversight. Additional practical features of the EDIE™ Generation 2 Application System include low-chemical level notifications, a redesigned user interface with a clearer LCD screen, visual dosing indicators, multiple security layers to prevent tampering, and both Wi‑Fi and cellular compatibility.
