The new Olympus voice recorder has Wi-Fi connectivity to save your audio file. The built-in Wi-Fi lets you control the new DM-901 from a smartphone app. This allows you to get as close as possible to your subject when recording in real time. You can easily place the unit as close as you can and then hit record to capture every sound. It even allows you to edit the microphone's pickup pattern where the sound quality is captured by the DM-901's pair of high-quality microphones.
The Olympus voice recorder will be retailed at $200 and also lets you snap photos on your smartphone to associate them with a recording. It comes with 4GB of internal memory with an expansion of up to 64GB. A single charge will record for an impressive 29 hours.
