Nora Shopova sequesters herself within the jungle foliage for Vogue Turkey's May 2014 issue. Some people use the phrase "it's a jungle out there" to describe the chaotic nature of the modern world. Ironically, Shopova escapes into the actual jungle for a much needed moment of solitude. It might not be the first place you'd think to go to re-group, but Shopova seems fairly relaxed.
Fashion editor Ece Ogutogullari styled Shopova in minimalistic safari wear with a neutral color palette. Some of the pieces were subtly embellished; for instance, in one shot Shopova wears a creamy, off-white shirt, ornamented with a dragonfly and butterfly pin. The jewelry was most definitely the highlight of the shoot: Shopova wears layered necklaces, drop earrings and multiple watches and bracelets (most notably, a serpent-styled cuff).
Emre Guven photographed Shopova on her tranquil expedition through the heart of the jungle.
