The May 2015 Vogue Spain Greg Kadel editorial reinterprets classic beachwear looks. Model Catherine McNeil pulled off the fashionable feat with the help of stylist Elizabeth Sulcer who replaced two piece bikinis with high rise skirts and short metallic party dresses.
Pieces of chunky gold jewelry contributed to the striking nature of this Vogue Spain production. Although sandy shores rarely call for over the top adornments, Sulcer demonstrated how readers can pull the avant-garde look off with rounded pearl earrings, studded chokers and thick bracelets.
Despite the upscale overtones present, slight elements of grunge were displayed at the same time. This was seen in tattoos lining McNeil's hands and arms, pointed nails and several dangling metallic earrings.
