Bold Cosmetic Editorials

Devon Windsor and Carla Ciffoni in the Vogue Russia July 2014 Issue

Devon Windsor and Carla Ciffoni star as 'Fair Maidens' in this editorial for Vogue Russia's July 2014 issue.

The term 'fair maiden' might bring to mind knights in shining armor rescuing damsels in distress amidst the pastoral English countryside. However, if the bold lipstick shades and defiant expressions the girls are wearing are any indication, I'd have to say they are more than capable of fending for themselves. It would be rather fool-hardy to mess with a woman daring enough to don a fearless fuchsia, challenging coral or rebellious red hue on her lips.

The creative team for this editorial consisted of fashion editor Elissa Santisi, hair stylist Franco Gobbi and temerarious makeup artist Tom Pecheux. The editorial was bravely lensed by photographer Terry Tsiolis for Vogue Russia's July 2014 issue.
