Last Resort AB's newest skate sneaker, the 'VM001,' boasts a minimalist black design and eloquent use of textured leather. The entire shoe from the toe vamp to the heel and right across the upper is covered in skin-textured black leather, giving the shoe a premium look despite its minimalist design. The 'Last Resort AB' logo appears on the tongue and on the light-brown insole.

The light-brown rubber outsole of the shoe was designed with "boardfeel" in mind, which is the term that describes the feeling of one's grip on a skateboard. Therefore, this shoe is fit for high-performance skateboarding, as the rider can feel confident in their stability on the board. Last Resort considered skating comfort with the profile of this shoe as well, resulting in the low profile, low collar, and reinforced toe bumper.
