In preparation for the Spring/Summer 2020 season, Bearpaw expanded its range of vegan sandals to include three fresh styles: the Piña, Lilo and Kala.
All of the models are made from a unique material called Piñatex, which is a type of natural leather alternative that's made using fibers that can be extracted from pineapple leaves. This makes the sandals comfortable to wear, while also ensuring that they're more durable than other variations that use less hardy textiles. The sandals are lined in a cork and cotton blend, and natural rubber outsoles finish them off.
The brand's other vegan footwear options are currently available on the Bearpaw website, with the new sandal variations set to launch in March. Each silhouette can be purchased in a variety of bright and neutral colorways, and retail for $100 CAD.
