New Balance works in collaboration with Highsnobiety on a 577 sneaker design by the ame of the 'Ulam Spiral' -- it tells a narrative of the numeric namesake of the model. The sneaker draws inspiration from the prime number 577 and the Ulam Spiral from mathematic terms.
It is a graphical image of prime numbers itself and the design captures the steeped design language of the visualization as well. The uppers boast color-blocking details around the toe box up to the side paneling details that are closed off when it reaches the heel. The paneling areas are made from suede leather materials blended with a mesh base for breathability as well as reflective details that round it off.
