Protein-Enhanced Pretzel Bites

Hero Bread Reworks Auntie Anne’s Pretzel Bites With Added Protein

Hero Bread is expanding protein-enhanced pretzel bites through a limited-edition collaboration with Auntie Anne’s that reformulates the chain’s recognizable pretzel experience around nutrition-focused macros. A Twist of Auntie Anne’s Hero Bread Pretzel Bites delivers 16 grams of protein and 18 grams of fiber per serving while containing three grams of net carbs, zero grams of sugar and 110 calories. Made with resistant wheat starch and olive oil, the bites retain familiar buttery and subtly sweet flavors alongside a soft-inside, crisp-outside texture.

For Hero Bread, the collaboration applies its low-carb baking approach to an established snack with significant consumer recognition. Partnering with Auntie Anne’s can introduce Hero’s nutritional positioning to consumers already familiar with the pretzel brand while giving Auntie Anne’s access to protein-focused snacking occasions. The direct-to-consumer, limited-edition release also allows both companies to gauge demand before pursuing broader distribution opportunities.
