Model-Backed Crocheted Swimwear

Alo and Tropic of C Debut a Collection of Handwoven Swimwear

Alo and Candice Swanepoel’s Tropic of C have joined to produce a collection of handwoven swimwear pieces. The three-piece capsule was designed in Northern Peru by indigenous female artisans, and the campaign spotlights Swanepoel sporting the new offerings in a tropical beach climate.

The collection includes a crochet bandeau, bucket hat, bikini set, and one-piece, arriving in multiple classic colors for easy styling. The one-piece comes in bold black and red colorways, while consumers can shop the minimalistic bikini set in numerous shades, including a multi-color striped and plum ‘Praia’ colorway. A 'Crochet Bandeau' can be styled in two different ways, and comes with a matching crochet bucket hat.

The new collection from Tropic of C and Alo is now available on the Alo website and select retail locations.
