A. Lange & Söhne Refines the TRIPLE SPLIT

A. Lange & Söhne has refined two signature models, the 1815 UP/DOWN and the TRIPLE SPLIT, featuring the UP/DOWN power-reserve indicator with AUF/AB and a rattrapante architecture that times comparative intervals up to 12 hours. Both pieces rest within distinct case proportions that emphasize different experiences of mechanical watchmaking.

The 1815 UP/DOWN is presented in 37.5mm cases at 8.7mm thick, offered in white gold and pink gold with deep blue dials and argenté subsidiary displays, and is limited to 300 pieces. The TRIPLE SPLIT uses a 43.2mm 950 platinum case, a rhodié dial with dark grey subdials, blued rattrapante hands, the hand-wound L132.1 calibre of 567 components, and a dark brown alligator strap in a 100-piece edition.

These editions make proportion and mechanism part of the appeal: the smaller 1815 invites daily interaction via its power-reserve display, while the TRIPLE SPLIT extends split-timing to hours for endurance measurement. Limited production and refined finishes reinforce their collectible, purpose-driven character in haute watchmaking.
