The Trash Couture Spring 2012 Brings Ballerina Fashion to the Runway

The Trash Couture Spring 2012 collection was revealed at Copenhagen Fashion Week. The very dramatic runway was based on the 2010 psychological thriller Black Swan. The movie is a dramatic re-telling of a ballet company that is performing Swan Lake. The Trash Couture line uses both Swan Lake and Black Swan as an inspiration.

The Trash Couture Spring 2012 collection started off with a series of models in head-to-toe white. Halfway through the show the same models started coming out in head-to-toe black. The styling of the show shifted from white dusty make-up and soft music into dark goth-inspired makeup and loud ominous music. Aside from the dramatics on the runway, the clothes themselves are all very flowy, romantic and quite breathtaking. So whether or not you identify as the white or black swan, the Trash Couture spring collection has something for you.
