Ultra-Sour Lemonades

Lawson's Too Sour Salted Lemonade is Loaded with Lemon Juice

When it comes to lemonade, some swear by a generous amount of sugar to balance the pucker, while others say that a pinch of salt is essential for unlocking complex tartness, and Japanese convenience store chain Lawson launched Too Sour Salted Lemonade. Building upon its classic Salted Lemonade, Lawson added twice as much lemon juice to the Too Sour Salted Lemonade version, challenging drinkers' taste buds with a completely different experience in texture and intensity.

For drinkers who prefer to refresh with something sweet, Lawson unveiled the Too Sweet Drinkable Chilled Zenzai, which boasts twice as much red bean paste as the original Drinkable Chilled Zenzai. There's a demand for products that amp up experiences of familiar products and dare the palate, and these drinks both pose a sensorial challenge.
