The Thom Browne S/S Show Brought Grade A Style to New York Runways
Malika Renee Butss — September 20, 2015 — Fashion
The Thom Browne S/S '16 show was held on September 14th, 2015 as part of the S/S '16 NYFW shows. Although the runway was located in NYC, Browne brought a collection full of Eastern influences.
In addition to the runway, American designer Thom Browne had a schoolhouse installed into his show space complete with a desk for every model. Just like Thom Browne's latest menswear collection, the Thom Browne S/S '16 line carries a very Japanese aesthetic utilizing motifs and uniforms. The little jackets and pleated skirts range in length from cropped blazers and mini skirts to full length jackets and midi skirts.
With a color palette ranging from gray to pastels, this collection is a definite S/S '16 highlight.
