Anime-Inspired Sneaker Series

ASICS and Foot Locker Teamed Up to Create 'The Sun and The Snake'

To kick off the launch of the Welcome to the Dojo collection of apparel and footwear, Foot Locker and ASICS launched an Anime-style series called 'The Sun and The Snake.'

This new collection pays tribute to ASICS' Japanese heritage and draws inspiration from the rising sun dojo and the snake dojo, where the path to becoming a samurai is initiated. In the anime-inspired digital series, fans may be able to recognize the voices of characters as Luka Sabbat, Princess Nokia and YFN Lucci. In all, five animated episodes are being released to offer an immersive look at the exclusive new Foot Locker collection through a unique storytelling format.

The first episode of The Sun and The Snake introduces fans to a samurai hero, who sets out on a quest to recover his stolen ASICSTIGER GEL-LYTE I sneakers.
