Co-founder Randi Christiansen told NewBeauty, “The truth is that The Lip Balm was an add-in to our treatment architecture. We initially had Lip planned further out, but as the demand for lip care rose tremendously these past years, our community would come to us for our interpretation."

Nécessaire's take on lip care is skin-caring and mindful of the planet, thanks to the use of nourishing ingredients like shea butter, ceramides, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, omegas and soothing centella asiatica extract. This clear, semi-gloss balm is vegan-friendly and ready to be swiped on lips, as needed, day and night.
