Currently seeking funding on KickStarter, The Hug is a sensor that wraps around almost any size water bottle via its flexible bands. The accelerometer in The Hug keeps track every time you take a drink from your bottle, while the algorithm in the sensor learns your drinking habits and filters out other movements.
The Hug sends the information of your drinking habits to The Hug iPhone app and lets you know if you're on track for drinking the necessary amount of water you need for the day. It will also send you alerts if you're not.
