6GHz Wi-fi Routers

The Eero Pro 6E Provides Access to the New 6GHz Wi-Fi Band

Eero, an Amazon-owned consumer electronics brand, has announced the launch of the Eero Pro 6E, its first 6E-enabled mesh Wi-Fi system.

The Eero Pro 6E is a tri-band router that provides access to the new 6GHz Wi-Fi band, the newest Wi-Fi spectrum addition since 1989 that has enabled faster speeds and less network congestion. In addition to the 6GHz Wi-Fi access, the router supports wireless speeds up to 1.3 Gbps and can deliver coverage to up to 100 devices at the same time.

Currently, the Eero Pro 6E is being sold as a single router unit or a full three-unit mesh system. Moreover, the company will roll out a new dual-band Eero 6 Plus system that offers faster gigabit speeds but at a lower price point than the other models.
