The Range of the Chevy Bolt is Increased Due to Changes in Cell Chemistry

The newest model of the Chevy Bolt will not have a drastically increased rage due to alterations in cell chemistry. The Chevy Bolt will now have a range of 259 miles, which is 9% higher than last year's model of the electric vehicle. In order to increase the range of the car, Chevy had to make some changes to cell chemistry in the car. The company's battery engineering team describes the changes as “impactful changes to the cell chemistry.”

The 2020 model of the Chevy Bolt will be available in two different colors and will be available this year. The electric vehicle will be available to consumers starting at a price of $37,495.

The range is always an important factor to consumers when purchasing an electric vehicle, and Chevy is clearly taking prioritizing the vehicle's range.
