Artful Reparative Haircare

The Art of Repair by Dove Explores Restored Art and Restored Hair

The Art of Repair by Dove is a limited-edition, Walmart-exclusive range in collectible packaging that highlights the brand's signature Bio-Protein Care technology and celebrates the expressive and highly individual qualities of hair. This collection features a complete three-step system in the form of a shampoo, conditioner and a treatment to help hydrate, smooth and strengthen hair—and elevate everyday hair repair routines into artful rituals.

"This project was inspired by the craft of art restoration," said Emily Barfoot, Head of Dove U.S., Beauty and Wellbeing. "Just like a painting can show signs of wear over time, hair can experience damage that requires care and precision to restore. We were fascinated by the way art conservators blend science and creativity to preserve a masterpiece without compromising its integrity. Dove is debuting The Art of Repair, a cinematic social film that looks at the links between restoring art and restoring damaged hair.
