Electric Car Diners

Tesla Diner Combines Supercharging, Dining And Drive-In Movies

A new kind of roadside stop is bringing together electric vehicle charging, classic American dining, and entertainment. Tesla Diner combines Tesla Supercharging with a 24/7 diner and drive-in movie experience on Route 66 in Hollywood. The venue features 80 V4 Superchargers, giving drivers a place to recharge their cars while also taking a break for food. Inside, the two-storey restaurant offers a classic diner-inspired setting, while 66-foot LED screens provide a large-scale backdrop for movies that can be watched from the surrounding drive-in area.

Tesla Diner also incorporates solar-powered charging as part of its approach to more sustainable energy use. The combination is designed to turn what is normally a short charging stop into a destination in its own right, giving drivers somewhere to eat and relax while their vehicles charge. Open around the clock, Tesla Diner brings together several distinctly American roadside experiences while adding the infrastructure needed for a growing electric vehicle audience.
