The super adorable 'Tacocat' toy and packaging concept by Stephani Stilwell combines all good things: fast food, cats and food with faces. The idea for Tacocat started with a word that worked as a palindrome and from there, the concept by the student at the Maryland Institute College of Art expanded into the plush personification of Tacocat and her friends, who include Hot Sauce, Mr. Churro, Chip, Chile and Lady Lime.
Running with the taco theme, packaging for the line of plush fast food friend toys takes inspiration from the kind of brown paper bags that you get when you order takeout fast food. The typographic treatment of the word "Tacocat" on the brown packaging also highlights back that it can be spelt the same way either backwards or forwards.
