Distilled Floral Negronis

Italian Restaurant Stuzzi Will Debut a New Gin and Negroni Spirit

'Stuzzi Per Negroni Gin' is the first spirit from Italian restaurant Stuzzi, crafted with the help of Leeds distillery Hedonist. The spirit is distilled with various florals, including Negroni, Sicilian Orange, Bergamot, Lavender, and Cinnamon. Stuzzi is known for experimenting with recipes to add their distinct touch, as the brand produces most of its menu items in-house. The 'Stuzzi Per Negroni Gin' uses simple ingredients mixed with the unique taste of negroni to boost the flavors and curb the initial bitter taste. Stuzzi created the spirit to make it a staple in the alcohol industry.

“[...] Realising how vulnerable the service industry is to lockdowns, we used the time to turn our attention to how we can diversify and protect the business. While supping lockdown negroni after lockdown negroni we started thinking about how we could perfect this ruby red nectar and the idea for the first Stuzzi gin was born," said Jimbob Phillips, Co-Founder and Director of Stuzzi.
