Grayscale Boyhood Editorials

Strange Photography Works to Promote KAKÁSLOK's Menswear Collection

KAKÁSLOK, a high-end menswear company, recently released its 'Boyhood' campaign -- an editorial that consists of rather strange photography which works to consider how one comes of age.

By using mostly black and white imagery, KAKÁSLOK presents its viewers with a vintage vibe. This is further instilled by its choice in models, who have a punk appeal that's complemented well by the clothing that they wear. The strange photography series shows the men in what looks to be abandoned concrete settings, working to reflect the simplicity of the clothing while simultaneously helping the lens to focus in on it.

Clothing presented seems to be monochromatic, however the use of exaggerated shadows in the series makes this slightly unclear.
