Capturing the McClearen family as a whole before laying their daughter to rest, Lindsey Natzic-Villatoro of Lovesong Events and Photography recalls, "I grabbed mom's hand and I told her this was quite literally the worst thing that could ever happen to a mother, but together we were going to get through this."

Although the baby was full-term, one morning the mother, Emily, became concerned about a lack of fetal activity. At the hospital, an ultrasound revealed that the umbilical cord had wrapped around her neck and that she was no longer alive. Absolutely devastated, she delivered her daughter via C-section. Utterly angelic, the baby looks like a healthy newborn in the stillborn baby photography series. These are images the family will cherish forever.
