Stefan Birgir Pays Tribute to Nintendo's Past with Cute Pixel Art

Nostalgia for old Nintendo games is still at an all-time high, and artist Stefan Birgir pays tribute to the enormously successful Japanese gaming company by rendering images of the various cartridges that go along with all the console systems they’ve produced. Nothing’s overlooked as cartridges for the NES, SNES, Game Boy and N64 are all here.

Stefan Birgir appropriately illustrates each image using a pixel art style, emulating the graphics commonly seen when these vintage software devices were booted up. Birgir also incorporates the word “nostalgia” into every picture in place of the iconic Nintendo logo.
