Google Released a Number of Improvements to Its Stadia Platform

Google recently released a number of new features for the Stadia platform, which all enhance the user experience. The Stadia platform now has the ability to support 5.1 surround sound, for users who are accessing Stadia through Chrome, or even another internet browser. The improved sound will provide an overall better experience and allow gamers to isolate different sounds in their environment.

Surround sound 5.1 was previously only supported for users of Stadia Pro, but it is now free to all.

Other updated features include notifications for mobile players regarding their connection. This will allow them to be informed about any issues that may cause lag or otherwise impede their ability to play.
