Rain Introduces a Native Loyalty Rewards Program

Rain has launched Rewards, a native loyalty capability built directly into its stablecoin payment card issuing infrastructure. This development will allow any partner running a card program on the platform to deploy fully branded rewards without contracting a separate vendor or building custom systems from scratch.

The launch of the Rewards platform follows a private beta with Avalanche Card that showed a 25% increase in spending among enrolled cardholders. The system tracks points, earn rules, and redemption within the same infrastructure that handles transaction settlement, with points minted on the blockchain only after a transaction finalizes to prevent reversals from creating unresolved liabilities. Partners retain control over program naming, earn rates, category multipliers, and redemption options such as statement credits or travel bookings through a white-labeled portal.
