Individualism was a major theme at prestigious designer Marc Jacobs' Spring 2010 RTW collection. Models trolled the runway in fantastical pieces such as space-age swimwear that made a statement about singular coherence.
Along with the space-age swimwear, we saw garments with a slight theatrical flair to them. Continuing on with his nod to the eighties last season, we find the feminine ruffles more pronounced and, seemingly, placed at random. Due to their accentuation in all of the right places, however, I think it is safe to say they were carefully contrived.
