'Sony Honda Mobility' is a Joint Tech Company Crafting Specialty Vehicles

Sony and Honda have officially given a name to their partnership in 'Sony Honda Mobility.' This is a new joint entity formed by the tech company and the automaker that they are referring to as a "mobility tech company." This company aims to augment smart cars with the latest cutting-edge technologies and accessories to create some of the greatest value-add vehicles on the market. Sony Honda Mobility is motivated by "innovation and diverse inspirations."

In addition to announcing this new joint company name, the official release from the companies states that Sony Honda Mobility will begin accepting preorders for its first lineup of vehicles in the first half of 2025. Following this, the vehicles will be delivered in Q2 2026 in the USA, and in H2 2026 in Japan.
