Efficient Healthcare Packaging Add-Ons

Swisslog Boosts Its AutoPack Automated Oral Solid Packager

Swisslog Healthcare has introduced the i-Rolly, an innovative add-on feature designed to enhance the functionality of its AutoPack Automated Oral Solid Packager system. This new component automates the winding and organization of medication pouches, allowing the system to process up to 80 packs per minute while offering both manual and automatic operation modes.

Swisslog Healthcare's i-Rolly includes detachable bobbins in 400mm and 500mm sizes. It enables efficient sorting by patient or medication type, which improves inventory management in hospital pharmacies. The add-on's compact design integrates smoothly with existing AutoPack Automated Oral Solid Packager units without requiring significant additional space. Its user-adjustable settings, on the other hand, allow operators to control winding speed and tension for optimal storage conditions.

By reducing manual handling, the i-Rolly minimizes errors in medication organization and streamlines workflow efficiency.
