The Solavore Sport may not be the first solar oven to ever be invented, but is pretty unique in its suitability for baking and slow cooking. The contraption also offers a different design to the likes of the SolSource and GoSun Stove solar ovens.
Perhaps the best feature of this particular solar oven is its extremely simple design and highly manageable size, which effectively renders it a portable greenhouse box. The oven's interior lining attracts the sun's rays, while insulated walls and a polymer lid help to prevent the heat from escaping. This turns the interior compartment into an oven with temperatures of up to 149 degrees Centigrade.
This solar oven isn't designed for quickly cooking a hunk of meet as the sun sets, and is meant to work as a slow cooker.
