The Smartbag is a backpack, developed by AMPL Labs, that is fitted with integrated charging ports in every pocket, with users able to control and monitor things from their smartphone. This bag is designed for the modern wired commuter and offers a space to store, transport and also recharge smartphones, tablets and laptops. It is equipped with an 18.5-Wh lithium-polymer battery that is hooked up to seven USB ports -- on in each pocket.
The backpack's included battery can be fully charged in 1.5 hours and offers enough power to charge a smartphone two or three times. You can include expansion SmartBatteries for extra juice.
The Smartbag, which took home two Innovation Awards at CES 2015, will be offered in the summer for $299.
