Small-Group Culinary Journeys

GeoEx Opens Its First Spain Trip with Cooking Clubs and Cave Art

GeoEx is expanding its Europe program with 'Flavors of Northern Spain,' its first Spain itinerary centered on small-group access to the country's Atlantic north. It accommodates up to 14 travelers over 10 days, moving through the Basque Country, Cantabria, and Asturias.

Guests start in San Sebastián with access to a Basque cooking club usually closed to visitors, then cook with a local chef and eat together. The trip also includes restricted access to Cueva de El Castillo and Cueva de Las Monedas in Cantabria, bringing original Upper Paleolithic art into the same itinerary as regional food traditions.

The first departures are set for fall 2027, with spring and fall dates planned for 2028. Starting at $16,900 per person, the itinerary makes rare regional access the main draw. As GeoEx's first Spain trip, it also expands the company's Europe roster with a product that is hard to piece together independently.
