The Sky Ferreira i-D editorial is shot entirely in black and white, which gives the matching wardrobe an extra bit of edge. The pop star happens to be channeling her inner rock star in the studio photoshoot. Yet she can also be likened to a young Helena Bonham Carter with her choppy black hair, big deep-set eyes and sullen expressions.
Shot by photographer Jai Odel, the Sky Ferreira i-D editorial appears in the summer 2014 issue of the British publication. Styled by Britt McCame, she is clad in studded leather jackets, fluffy white sweaters and and satiny suspender skirts. The carefree outfits were perfected with understated beauty courtesy of hair stylist Kayla MiChele of Atelier Management and makeup artist Kanako Takase.
