Manga Publisher Shueisha Launches Game Studio, Shueisha Games

Shueisha, a popular Japanese manga publisher known for its 'Weekly Shonen Jump' magazine, has launched Shueisha Games, a new gaming studio that the company first announced in February. The new studio plans to develop and produce games for major consoles, smartphones, and PCs.

Moreover, the company has confirmed that it even plans to launch its own series of "analog games," including physical board games. To launch the new studio, Shueisha recruited Masami Yamamoto, a game production manager who previously worked at Sony Interactives Japan studio.

So far, according to Shueisha, the new studio has already teamed up with several major gaming companies and other brands. However, it has yet to release details regarding specific projects. Fans can expect the company to begin announcing its first game titles sometime in the coming months.
