Chronicled Allows Shoe Collector to Prevent Counterfeit Purchases

To help reduce the amount of counterfeit product sold in secondary markets, start-up brand Chronicled has put together a sneaker authentication app that lets users double-check the quality and make of the shoes they are about to purchase. The platform is an asset to anyone that is looking to ensure the shoes they purchase in a secondary market are legitimate before offering up the money.

The app is designed to work in conjunction with a Smart Tag patent that can be attached to the inside of shoes to create a virtual library of the seller's sneaker products. The Smart Tag is a sign of authenticity as well, allowing buyers to know the sneaker is the type and make it is advertised as.
