Genderless Classic Panelled Boots

Shayne Oliver Works with UGG on a Pair of the Classic Boots

Shayne Oliver works in collaboration with UGG on a new iteration of the Classic Bot silhouette for the season. This time around, it boasts a genderless design that takes the signature shape and elevates it with dynamic materials and depth. It has a nostalgic element that is inspired by the armored footwear that was worn by medieval knights.

Speaking about the new boots, Oliver explains that it is a "genderless artifact of disruption." He tells Highsnobiety that "I’ve been a fan and have worn UGG boots since I was in middle school, I’m really into the idea of extreme comfort without sacrificing style. During my creative process, I wanted to think about a design that literally felt protective and functional."
