Parent-Connected Teen Shopping Apps

Hollister's Debuts New 'Share2Pay' For Teen Shoppers

American clothing brand Hollister has unveiled a new method for paying for apparel using its mobile app called 'Share2Pay, which is targeted primarily toward teenagers.

The store's Share2Pay feature, which the company describes as a “retail industry first," enables consumers to browse for the goods they want and then share their digital cart with their parents or another responsible adult who can then make the payment.

“Introducing new patent-pending technology like Share2Pay allows us to make shopping for teens and parents easier. I’m incredibly proud of the fully in-house team that ideated and developed this new payment solution, which we believe will optimize our teens’ experience while converting more mobile purchases," said Samir Desai, A&F Co. chief digital and technology officer at Hollister.
